Part-time MBA

I was born in Hawaii, raised in Hong Kong, and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii, Manoa. I returned to Hong Kong to start my career life and I have been here for over 15 years now, working in different marketing areas, focusing on communications, PR, media planning, promotions, event management and partnership in various industries in Asia.

I am a strong believer in academic knowledge being the basis for personal development and I have always had in mind a plan to pursue an MBA degree. My job requires me to have a strong sense of marketing and management and of financial competitiveness in the industry and the economy. I believe now is the appropriate time for me to further broaden my knowledge, expand my professional network and widen my career path.

I am the Executive Director of Events for MGM Macau and the flexibility and reputation of HKU part-time MBA programme has allowed me to take advantage of being able to work in Macau and attend my classes in Hong Kong during weekends. The tranquility of the Cyberport Campus has given me the pleasure of enjoying weekends surrounded by lovely classmates in a beautiful setting. This must have been the best choice for accomplishing my goal of seeking knowledge in balance with my busy work life.
