Soap Cycling CSR Event 2019

27 Apr 2019

The first MBA CSR event of 2019 was held on Apr 27. MBA staff, students and alumni gathered together at Soap Cycling’s Warehouse in Kwai Chung and sanitized 55kg of soap bars and packed 185 hygiene kits in total. We would like to express our gratitude for all the hard work and dedication provided by our volunteers!

Soap Cycling, founded by one of our MBA lecturers Mr. David Bishop, and currently run by HKU MBA alum Patrick Davis, is a Hong Kong-registered nonprofit organization operating since 2012. The organization collects used hotel soap that would normally be discarded, reprocesses it with the help of volunteers, and then distributes it to developing Asia and people in needed.

Soap Cycling also works with many companies as part of their CSR, volunteering and team-building exercises. If you are interested in supporting Soap Cycling’s finance and volunteering, you are welcome to email them at info@soapcycling.org to learn more.
