Full-time MBA

Before joining the HKU MBA programme, I worked in the quality systems department of a leading medical device company in Southern California, Boston Scientific Corp. During my time there, I led several teams and projects related to training systems, FDA audits, compliance standards and document control systems. It was a very rewarding position because, at the end of the day, my job was to ensure patient safety. Prior to joining Boston Scientific, I worked for a leading food manufacturing company in the US, Hostess Brands, as a food technologist and audit coordinator after completing my undergraduate studies at Purdue University in Indiana.

Coming from an entrepreneur family, and having an Asian background, I decided I wanted to learn more about business in Asia, where remarkable economic growth is occurring. Hence, I chose the HKU MBA because of its rigorous and effective curriculum, extensive network and strategic location. Moreover, the HKU MBA partnership programme with CBS and LBS is very appealing to me.

After completing the MBA, I would like to explore career options in consulting or quality systems management. I am confident that the knowledge, challenges, rigour and growth that I will experience both inside and outside the classroom will complement the work I have done in healthcare and assist me in achieving my career goals.
