Full-time MBA

I was very pleased and excited to join the HKU MBA mentorship programme. This was the perfect timing for me as I launched my new practice in transformational life coaching and energy healing. The programme was thoughtfully set up with good email communication. It was a shame that we were not able to attend the social events due to Covid-19 restrictions. I did enjoy our online mentoring experience where mentors shared their insights and overall experiences with their mentees.

The HKU MBA Career Development & Training team were helpful and provided good guidelines that not only allowed me to understand my role as a mentor but also gave me the freedom to create a programme best suited for my mentee. I did not feel restricted in any way and used my experiences according to my mentee’s needs and objectives. I thought the pairing of mentor and mentee was very good. I felt instantly connected to my mentee, which made the coaching a wonderful experience for us both. We were able to express ourselves openly which created trust from the very beginning. My mentee was amazingly receptive, was clear on her objectives and priorities, and an inspiring person.

It was a privilege for me to be her mentor and I am very thankful for the experience. During this time of Covid-19, many people are going through a lot of change in their lives, whether it be a change of career, loss of a loved one, change in emotional state; I am glad to be of service and to help guide them into a place of certainty, clarity and most importantly high self-value and self-worth. I look forward to being a mentor again for HKU and I wish all the mentees a wonderful journey ahead in their newfound careers and life path.
